Government mines do not export directly, but through Egyptian Trading companies that have capabilities and financial stability. They sign contracts for a certain period of time and as per quantities exported per year.
There are 3 major Trading companies:
Egyptra Trading For Import & Export is one of the 3 major companies that are exporting Rock Phosphate since 2005.
For the past 2 years, smaller trading companies entered the export market with low quantities and are not complying with the specific quality and % requested by customers abroad.
The trend of some small trading companies is blend low quality with higher to have a better profit margin. Which resulted in some turbelence in the Indian Market specifically.
